Allison began working for Gurdjian & Associates, Inc. in June of 1996. She became licensed in life and health insurance in 2003. Allison earned a business degree from the University of Phoenix in 2006. In 2007, she received her Senior Market Specialist accreditation.

Allison lives in rural Sand Creek, Michigan with her husband Joe. They are the proud parents of a son, Douglas Joseph "DJ", a Daughter, Eleanor Renee "Ellie" and a dog, MacKenzie Renee, a yellow Labrador.

Allison is a member of the Weston United Methodist Church. She is the Seneca Township Clerk, a Lenawee County Farm Bureau Young Farmers member. In addition, She and Joe are on the State Young Farmer Commitee.

Allison is also the Editor of the Lenawee Counrty Ag News monthly publication.
